As a graduate student I worked at 'Physikalisches Institut, Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn' and completed my diploma and PhD theses at the Electron Stretcher Accelerator ELSA.

• PhD thesis on acceleration of polarized electrons in ELSA, finished in March 1999.
