- Thin film growth and in situ characterization of their electronic structure using ARPES: transition metal dichalcogenides, topological matters, and their heterostructures
- ARPES investigation of electronic structure: heavy fermion, functional oxides, low-dimensional systems, density wave systems, and other strongly correlated materials
- Lineshape analysis of ARPES spectra: phenomena near quantum critical point, geometrical & magnetic frustration
