All publications resulting from work done in whole or in part at the ALS must be recorded by the User Office for the Department of Energy (DOE). To ensure our records are complete, please report your ALS publications, especially those published in 2024 and 2025.
Please report:
- Journal articles
- Refereed conference proceedings
- Books and book chapters
- Theses and dissertations
- Awards
- Invited lectures
- Patents
To enter publications or to search the ALS publications database, go to the Publications Menu and click on the appropriate link
A friendly reminder: all publications based on work done at the ALS should include the appropriate acknowledgment statement and acknowledge the instrument and/or beamline(s) as well as the participation of any beamline staff who may have assisted in any aspect of an experiment. Please refer to our Publications Requirements for more information.
If you co-author a paper with one or more ALS Beamline Scientists, you may be asked for an open-access version of the manuscript so that we can comply with DOE’s Public Access Plan. We request that you cooperate with our scientists in a timely fashion and provide manuscripts to satisfy this DOE requirement when asked.
Thank you for your help!
