Biographical Information
Xiaoya Chong received the B.Eng. degree from Zhejiang University and the M.Sc. degree from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. She got her Ph.D. degree in the Department of Computer Science, City University of Hong Kong. Her research interests include Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision and Computational Biology. During her Ph.D. study, she also undertook research internships at Tencent AI Lab and Noah’s Ark Lab-Hong Kong, where she focused on utilizing convolutional neural networks, transformers and MLPs for low-SNR data analysis. Currently, she is a postdoc at Berkeley Lab and she uses machine learning methods to perform alignment for optical systems.
