ALS Tour Logistics
We’d love to provide you a tour of the ALS prior or after the review dates. More on the tour logistics here:
- For safety, long pants (or equivalent) and closed-toe shoes are required on the ALS experimental floor.
- Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
- The typical tour includes walking up and down a flight of stairs and proximity to magnetic fields exceeding 5 Gauss. While this is safe for credit cards, it may pose a risk to individuals with pacemakers.
- If accessibility or health concerns apply to anyone in your group, please inform the ALS Communications Group in advance at alscommunications@lbl.gov and we will accommodate.
