| Additional notes | Polarization is user selectable; linear polarization continuously variable from horizontal to vertical; left and right elliptical (or circular) polarization. Spot size = 10–60 μm diameter. Field of view/spatial resolution = 5–60 μm diameter field of view, down to 30 nm spatial resolution in best case/ <100 nm resolution typical. Sample information: 3 mm to 18 mm diameter depending on sample holder, flat, conductive surface; sample preparation with sputter surface cleaning. Other notes: UHV, sample heating (800 K) and cooling (32 K), other holder allow for current pulses down to 1 ns, pulsed in-plane magnet fields up to 20 mT, sample rotation, voltages or currents. |
